Kumara Parvatha (K.P)

Mission K.P......

                          Me (avinash ) and my friend Dheeraj were thinking about the trekking to KUMARA PARVATHA. we thought nobody will join us for trekking. But my 10 friends get ready for an awesome trekking for K.P(kumara parvatha).

 We 12 guyz get ready for trekking to K.P.........

We all gathered at MYSOORU bus stand (as we all stay in mysore) at around 10pm. All were in hurry to experience their first trekking . Bus arrived and we all stepped in for RAJAHAMSA MYS-MANGLORE bus around 11. Then as the bus started to move our minds started to dream about the trekking. All of us enjoyed our journey to KUKKE SUBRAHMANYA. Bus stopped at Sampaje for tea break and we drank tea n something else to make us feel better in that damn cold weather. As we moved from sampaje we were little sleepy and  slept for a while. After getting up, heard "THE MORNING RAGA" to make myself fresh and finally we reached KUKKE SUBRAHMANYA.  There we made a room for our morning activities :P . From there we splitted ourselves into 2 groups; 1st lead by DJ and 2nd by me.

                  First group get ready and started the trekking bit earlier than us.. We all are feeling great. Just few kms remaining to start our trek. Then we started the trekking at around 7a.m on 28th september. We entered the thick forest . Its just like a green heaven. Tats the place where we took a group photo .

We took salt. Its the only drug to avoid leeches. Our shoes were fully coated by salt. As we start the trekking we called BHATTARU to prepare our breakfast . We were enjoying each and every moment of our trekking. Initially everything was alright. After few hrs 3 of ma friends started to struggle. Me and Yashwanth boost them up by giving Glucose n few words . Then without any problem(except leeches) we continued our trekking. Then we found a  stream passing across the trekking trail.

There we recharge ourselves with lots of water n filled all the bottles too. Then we continued the trek with same josh . After trekking for a while we completed the forest trail. We found the grassland...... OMG green grass.., purple flowers, yellow butterflies just made us to stand for a while and enjoy the beauty of the nature .

   Our trekking started and reached the Battara mane at around 10am. My group and 1st group reached there almost at same time. We had breakfast and moved from there around 10:30 am. There is a view point near battara mane. friends did photoshoot there and moved to forest department which is few meters from there. We met one more guy Karthik who came alone for this trekking. We all filled our names ph.no etc.. and paid rs200/ each. From there our trekking continued having an objective of reaching the peak as early as possible.Asusual the trekking trail is bit tough steep and narrow but we managed somehow.

At around 3pm we were totally in the clouds. It ws an awesome moment that cant be described in words. Have to feel it. We find small stream with lots of water and filled it in bottles . And we found the KALLU MANTAPA. Then we continued our trekking . Visibility is very low as its full of clouds.

Then rain started to screw us. For god's sake it stopped. We are not at all finding the peak. As we move forward we will find one more peak n this hide and seek continued.

  Peak is not at all visible, on the other hand few guyz were totally exhausted not ready to trek at all. Then we had some chapathis and boosted up and moved forward. At last we find the peak. everybody s happy. But its not the kumara parvatha peak.

It was SHESHA PARVATHA. From there we will find forest . Dense thick forest. We all were happy that atlast we were heading to the peak. We entered the forest without any problem. But the problem we found was to climb that rock which was a small waterfall. The problem is its very slippery and very difficult to climb .

Some how we managed to climb this up. And finally reached the peak. It was an awesome moment when we reach the peak. And we camped there

. Enjoyed there a lot. There is a small temple of SHIVA.

At night me Yashwanth, DJ and ASHU slept till 12:30 am and after that we came out of the tent and enjoying by simply chatting , enjoying the nature. It was an awesome moment that we will never forget.

 At the peak we found some people already there who araived from somwarpet side. They all have came here not to enjoy the trekking.  They have came for the temple. We are shocked that they have came  bare footed. Hats off to them.....
They told tat they gonna join us because they ve decided to descend in the kukke side.
  Then we start to descend. The problem araised when we came to know that its impossible to descend that slippery rock. One wrong move can screw us like anything.
 In addition to that so many aged people are there in that group. So we decided to findout an alternative trail . And Kathik and me did it. All were happy as we descended that rock without any problem and continued our trekking. As we descending, we were enjoying the morning beauty of the Pushpagiri range and in the other hand we were missing them. In upcoming few hours we will be out of the trekking. :( Then we decided to enjoy the remaining trekking. Then we reached bhattara mane have an awesome breakfast and moved from there. Then reached the kukke subrahmanya. 
 Then our MISSION accomplished. :-)
